I'm Here!!!

Well, I meant to write a more substantial post but I'm having computer difficulties so I'm in the computer lab and can't post pictures :( However, I'm having a great time and Coleraine is gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!! People eat french fries on bread and call it a sandwich, and they drinks lots and lots of tea which I have been taught to make "correctly." I have orientation and it turns out the classes that I picked should have me done with classes for the week by Wednesday hahaha woohoo! I like the way this school thinks, and it means I have more time to travel and see things I want to see. As soon as I get my computer up and running again, I'll write a more extensive post complete with pictures. Love you all!

11 Days

In 11 days I'm finally going to Northern Ireland! I went to a couple doctor appointments, deposited some money in the bank, and next I have to go to the dentist, get some pounds, and get a bank statement for immigration. Oh yeah, and I have to pack. Then I get to LEAVE! Woo Hoo! Ok that's all for now :L)

Ok finally here it is

Ok my fascinating writing is back by popular demand/ lots of nagging coughcough momandauntminna coughcough. Anywho, what had happened was... i lost my passport. so we turned the house upside down looking for it because i need it to apply for my visa... long story short i had to go get a new one and it has come so we just have to run over to our friendly neighborhood post office (in the hood) to pick it up. i'll write more after i offically apply for my visa this week after i pick up my passport... that should be a fun entry hahaha! and also forgive my laziness with the grammar and punctuation :L)

Paper Work!

Ok, so this week has been filled with getting paper work turned in for Ireland which , let me tell you, takes forever and and a day. I've been in contact with my Northern Ireland lady, whose name is Siobhan Grose... ok now you tell me how you would pronounce that because I've definitely been telling everybody her name is see-ub-han, but according to our Northern Ireland exchange student Ruth her name is prounounced Shevonne. Yeah... that's what I said... Anywho, I finally got my module (course) selection stuff turned in for Ireland, and now I have 10 pages of stuff to turn in for Lyon... I have to get my advisor, the division chair, the foreign exchange professor, and the dean of the faculty to sign papers giving me permission to go... which I wish it would be the dean of students because he's awesome whereas the dean of the faculty is kind of... for lack of a better word a waynch. But anyway, it's progressing slowly but surely.

My First Blog

So anyway, I just got a text message from my best friend Meghan saying she just set up a blog for Ireland, because we're both going second semester of next year. It's kind of going to be like an online diary, so we can tell about our days or weeks or whatever and our family can check on us, which if your parents are as needy as mine is a good thing hahaha just kidding... Anywho, we're super excited to go and I probably won't post that much before I go but I will try to every day that I'm there. I'm going to be going to the University of Ulster in Coleraine, Ireland, and Meghan is going to go to Queens in Belfast, but they're not that far away, and we're super pumped!!! Anywho, I'm gonna get off here and call mom and tell her to look at my blog now... :L)
