My First Blog
So anyway, I just got a text message from my best friend Meghan saying she just set up a blog for Ireland, because we're both going second semester of next year. It's kind of going to be like an online diary, so we can tell about our days or weeks or whatever and our family can check on us, which if your parents are as needy as mine is a good thing hahaha just kidding... Anywho, we're super excited to go and I probably won't post that much before I go but I will try to every day that I'm there. I'm going to be going to the University of Ulster in Coleraine, Ireland, and Meghan is going to go to Queens in Belfast, but they're not that far away, and we're super pumped!!! Anywho, I'm gonna get off here and call mom and tell her to look at my blog now... :L)

Hey, we're not needy...just thorough. I hope you write often before you get there just to let us know what progress is being made. It's exciting!
That's so exciting, Sydney! You're going to have an awesome experience!
So join the family blog already!
I am so excited for you Syd! Congrats on the opportunity to study abroad, AND start your very own blog! So, with all of that in mind, I think we need to start a posting called "Safety Tips for Syd!" Here's my first entry - Pack extra peanut butter & crackers until you get used to the food! Love you!~Christi
oh yeah i'll definitely be taking peanut butter crackers, although i should always have the option of fish and chips as a back-up... if they don't do that over there then i'm screwed hahaha!
Syd, I will give you a safety tip guaranteed to make my girls roll their eyes and give me that " Do you think I just fell of the turnip truck?" look.
DON'T EVER LEAVE YOUR DRINK OR LET SOMEONE YOU DON'T KNOW GET YOU A DRINK. or how about....
CHANGE YOUR UNDERWEAR EVERY DAY.
Good tips, Paula! Here's another one Syd...(and Katie - the blog experts) -STOP posting and telling every stranger where you are, what dorm you're in, what country you're visiting, the bank you use, your DOB or passport number...whew! Ok, I'll think of more later. (I think I am nervous about sending our baby Syd overseas). LOVE YOU, SYD!!
We are so very proud of you,Syd.
And thanks for the blog. We shall enjoy watching your journey unfold.
Take care.
hey I thought you were going to update this. Just a couple things for you to remember. The beer is great, the food good (as long as you like potatoes) and there are sheep and old things every where.
